68th Street – Waukomis Drive to US 169
To fix the compromised concrete substructure, the concrete base was milled down 4 inches, to where the base was still good, then replaced with 2 inches of asphalt base and 2 inches of SMA overlay. Any compromised sections of the curb and driveways were repaired. The lids and approaches of all the gutters along the road were replaced. All sidewalk intersections with roads with ADA ramps were removed and replaced. Lastly, drainage issues along with the project were addressed, including a previous under-roadway structure and its surrounding area by providing a new pathway for water to flow.
Artin performed construction observation for this project, to assure that the construction is done per the design. We finished the project earlier and at a lower cost.
